Hip Hop Abs Review and on to the next!

Ok so the long awaited review of “Hip Hop Abs” in paper form.  So beginning this workout, I wasn’t sure how it would go, as workout video’s in the past have bored me to tears and I give up on doing them when I find the workouts to be tedious and with little to no results.  However, I am pleasantly surprised with results and the entertainment factor of Hip Hop Abs.

At first I was a little concerned with the program, as in the first video (Fat Burning  Cardio) Shawn T talked quite a bit.  However in the other video’s included in this workout I found Shawn T to be very motivational and quite pleasant to listen to.  Luckily in all the video’s if you are not interested or needed the extra push from Shawn, you can choose louder music.  As you can see the results are not major but this was only 30 days!  30 days and I feel better, I notice my abs more, and I feel like everything has tightened up substantially.  I am sad that the 30 days is up and that I’m moving on to Shawn T’s Insanity workout (available at http://teambeachbody.com/actrain click on shop and you can get Hip Hop Abs or any other program plus the delicious Shakeology drinks) but I am looking forward to my new challenge!  I must say the first day of Insanity kicked my can!  I was sweating worse than two squirrels screwing in a wool sock behind the dryer!  I could not do the drills on the skill test for the complete minute, I kept taking breaks, as did the people in the video.  This is by far the most intense workout I’ve ever done!  The next two days were pretty much the same!  So much sweat was pouring out of me that I probably could have filled my swamp cooler 10 times in the time span of less than 60 minutes!  Today (day 4) was the recovery day, and for a recovery day I still sweat like no other!  I of course will blog about this new workout continually throughout the 60 days and if your interested in working out with me, visit my  site as referenced above.
As for Tom, he is still in the P90X workout video’s, and as you can see the results are phenomenal and he’s still got more than 30 days to go!  How much better can he get?  But, he’s up against me, the Legendary 6-Pack Cole Train and my Insanity workout!  But regardless in the end we are both winners!  Duh!!  (also if you would like some of the tasty and very slimming new shakes I'm drinking to continue my weight loss visit http://shakeology.com/actrain)

  1. Wow, I think I should do the workout that Tom is doing. I want to develop some tattoos. Do they come with the P90X workout?
