Week 2 of Insanity!

Week 2 on the way!!
I must say I was really concerned with starting week 2 where my muscles have not all gotten loosened up from all the intense workouts. However, today is the first day I haven't been unbearably soar, and doing cardio recovery today,,, I wanted to get moving but you just don't on cardio recovery days, and I must admit it was a very pleasant surprise as I also moved some rocks, weeded the front garden (planting marigolds in it) and mowed the front yard... man I swear I just work to dang hard! If the work was only 4 days a week and I received 3 off every week I'd be so stinking happy!! Or if Tom would just get two or 3 other jobs that could work... Maybe if I train the dogs to do wild tricks i could get some money. Anyway, it feels really good to not be sore in the legs for the first time in a week!

Week 1 of Insanity!
Well I'm happy to say I've made it through my first week of the Insanity work out program. The name says it all its totally Insane! However, I really must say I've enjoyed pushing myself! Normally I'm not the type of person that sweats a lot, however this workout has changed that for me substantially, so much that when I do the floor work I have to dry the floor because of all the sweat I've lost (I know kind of gross but I love it!). I was looking forward to the recovery day, and to not let you down it still worked me out like no other! I can tell my flexibility is getting much greater as the stretches are phenomenal on this work out! I was feeling so weak while doing this workout as I was unable to keep going the entire time during each of the sections, but as I was resting I noticed all of the people working out with Shawn T were taking breaks and even taking some of the exercises easy for parts of it, so I must say I wasn't doing as bad as I thought. Tomorrow starts day 1 of week 2! Wish me luck!

Diet Review Part 2

For the morning half of the day it would consist of Coffee with 2 tablespoons of creamer, and 2 splendas. The mornings were basically a liquid diet where all I could drink was Coffee, tea, water, or crystal light. The only other people I can think of that do liquid diets are alcoholics.
With lunch time round the corner! Time to look forward to my lovely packed lunch! Let see what were the regular menu items:
3 ounces of chicken (chicken spices make it bearable)
1 Roma Tomato (balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper)
1 Apple Snack
Oh wow, that makes you so full just thinking about it, I’m sure, but next comes dinner!!
De-shelled shrimp just warmed up in the microwave no oils allowed
3 ounce salad of spinach, tomatoes and onions.
1 Apple Snack
2 melba (nasty burnt croutons) as a snack you could choose when you took them, I took them at night.
Pretty thrilling right? You can do a lean cut of red meat as well, same weight 3 1/2 ounces, or halibut, and cod, all the same weight.
The longer the diet went on the more I felt like I could stay on it longer. When the weight-loss dropped to be less than 2 pounds a day, it got a little frustrating but I was so glad to still be loosing the weight that I wouldn't consider going off until the time was up.
I did this hellacious diet for 45 days and I lost 50 pounds total. Since then I’ve taken my measurements before the Cruise to Cabo, and since getting back from Cabo, I am just about completed with the Hip Hop Abs 4 week program and trust me I will do a review on this one! I end the workout on Friday so if i can get the before and after shots done I may have it completed for next week as well as the YouTube videos you can find from them by going to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz_wLWOE2Pg That should link you over to my first video blog. This week I will be video blogging over either this diet, or the Hip Hop Abs program or both. So stay tuned, the Video blog isnever the same as the writing blog. And you get to see me live! So for now, this is your Rated R Super Star Cole, and I’ll be back with more fun for you to enjoy! (please note I had taken my ambien and tried to edit any messed up words or sentences,,, if there are any my apolagies had better dam well be accepted!

Diet Review blog postponed for 1 week,,,,
So originally I planned to continue the diet reviews today for my blog, I started out with all the intentions of doing so, thinking of things to say, things to discuss, triumphs, setbacks, etc. but then the day started to take a turn, a turn that turns me, The Total Package, into the Incredible Hulk.

The second thing that made my day such a lovely one is the Drivers license department. It used to be to renew you would just mail in the application with the appropriate fee’s. Well, not the case any more in Utah. You now have to go into the office to do this. If you’ve ever been there its a freaking joke! The lines and the wait they make us all sit through each and every single day! I went in with my current drivers license which expires in June (trying to get the jump start on things) my passport, and my completed renewal application. I then waited inline for about 30 minutes, when I finally got to the lady who gives you a number to wait in yet another line, she tells me they cant help me because, even though I have my drivers license, my completed application, and my U.S passport, they cannot help me because I don't have my social security card with me. Now where I was only renewing my license and it was not yet expired, they could not do anything. Apparently if my license was 2 weeks or more expired, they would be able to take care of me with out my social security card as its more important, but since June is a few weeks away I could always come back with a card. Absolutely absurd! You try to do something fast and ahead of time and instead your punished! So, I of course ran home, got my card and drove back, waited again in the line to get a number to wait in the other line. It wouldn’t have been so bad where they have 11 plus counters to help people, however only one rep was helping people! The other 10 were busy talking about Angelina Jolie. I tell ya, if tomorrow isn’t much better I don't know what I’ll do!
However there was a positive, well wonderful thing that happened today! Tom and I purchased our first trailer! Yes its official! We are part time Trailer Park Trash now! TPT baby! And yes I know that I capitalized Trailer Park Trash! Its a name/term and I will grow to respect it (even though I’m not from Kentucky like Rick)! Anyway, hope to see a lot of you out in the woods this Summer freezing in your tents while I have the heater going!
Its not easy being the king! Love all you silly people! (Rebecca, the worlds greatest english teacher, any errors in my writing tonight can be blamed on Ambien and not you!)
